Railway Museum Weimar

On the former railway depot in Weimar - only a short distance from today's main station - the Thuringian Railway Association presents Thuringia's largest historical collection of locomotives. The inventory of the extraordinary museum includes over 30 different steam, diesel and electric locomotives. Mainly vehicles and equipment of the former German Reichsbahn are to be found, among them all last used series. Passenger cars, freight cars and special cars can also be visited.
